Circuit Basics with Circuit Training Obstacles

What kid doesn’t love an obstacle course? I’ve been having a hard time finding a good way to introduce circuits to my test hubby Evan and am hoping this idea passes his approval. This is circuit basics for every kid and adult!

Kids (and parents) can learn how circuits work by being an electron. You zig zag through a resistor slowing you down, and hop over hurdles, which lights you up! I love how it truly correlates to how electrons light up in light bulbs and the circuit looks just like one you would see in a college text book with all the correct components!

We are also making a cut and paste circuit for our squishy circuits to help them figure out what acts as a resistor, light and battery in the lab!
