Hey Spy Master Family,
Imagine this, you’ve just stolen secret documents that would allow you to save the world from a dastardly villain, but you’re surrounded. You can’t get out, but you’ve got to pass on your info. What do you do?
Today we’re going to engineer dead drops. You have to make yours so no one will notice it except the person who is supposed to. And it has to be able to hold those secret death star plans you so neatly stole.
Come join us to learn how to disguise your secrets!

Parent Takeaway – This is an engineering project, so bring the bin. Also, use your knowledge of everyday objects to critique their designs. We need dead drops that blend in perfectly, not stand out beautifully. A fake brick that has been painted to perfectly match a wall is just as amazing as one that is totally crafted up.

Activity: Build a dead drop to pass messages
Spies have to drop off intel without actually meeting others. We will devise a hidden spot for us to deposit our latest reports or gadgets so the villains can’t find it. Want to find a dead drop in real life? Check out the world of geocaching!
