Earthworm Neurons | Flat Rosie
High school students at PGSS got to learn about earthworm neurons this summer. Dr. Carrie Doonan and Dr. Emily Drill from Carnegie Mellon University over-watched …
The bulk of scientific research is done through government grants at the university level. There are literally thousands upon thousands of research labs conducting incredibly cool science experiments out there. All it takes is a quick google search and viola! You have hundreds of millions of ideas.
The goal of the Flat Rosie project is to bring current science research to the fingertips of kids everywhere. So if you have an area of science you love, find a lab doing interesting research, write a letter and send her off. If they are willing and able (some research is classified after all) you will see her photos and experiences uploaded here!
